Body Simulation
Body Simulation is built around the excellent physiologic and pharmacologic
models of N. Ty Smith, M.D. The software is integrated with many aspects of
relevant physiology to present users with the most life-like PC based flat
screen anesthesia simulation available.
- October, 2004 - Version 2.98 released.
- March, 2004 - Body CV 1.0 released.
- January, 2003 - Body Simulation incorporates chemical warfare
agents cyanide and sarin.
- June, 1999 - Body Simulation for Anesthesia version 2.14 released.
This is the first commercial release of Body Simulation Windows software.
- November, 1997 - Body Simulation chosen by the Brazilian Society
of Anesthesiologists (SBA) to be used in simulation centers across
Brazil . Body Simulation demonstrated at several SBA workshops and
the annual meeting.
- September, 1996 - Body Simulation customized by HP Germany for the
purpose of demonstration of the Merlin Monitor.
- June, 1995 - Body Simulation customized by Abbott France (Sevosoft)
for the purpose of demonstration of the use of Sevoflurane. Over
150 copies of Sevosoft have been distributed in Europe .
- October, 1994 - Body Simulation contracted for simulation
of the Marquette Medical Systems / Engstroem anesthesia machine joint
venture anesthesia machine (BAM, Eclipse).
BODY Simulation is an interactive, multimedia, model driven tool
which gives the feeling of the real environment.
