The Securaplane Cargo Smoke detection is installed on one 737-300 simulator and on two 737-200 simulators.
The system uses host-based discrete I/O to communicate with the Securaplane CCU SIMULATOR SIM3000 to set up the cargo smoke scenarios. The CCU simulator in turn interfaces with the cockpit smoke suppression control panel CDU.
Cargo smoke scenarios are initiated from the IOS.
